Atlanta International Technology Solutions Team Members

Joshua GoughPresident and Co-Founder: Joshua Gough was born and raised in Wappingers Falls, NY before moving to Atlanta. He is an experienced team leader in web and database application development and architecture. He graduated from Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business with a BBA degree in Computer Information Systems (4.0 major). Since then he has worked on mission-critical applications for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Abel Solutions, Inc, GB Holdings, Inc, Stoney River Capital Partners, PayDay USA, and Center State Bank. He has also consulted with smaller firms and individuals and has been a guest lecturer in an entrepreneurship class at GSU.

Josh has a background in both dynamic frameworks and languages like CGI, PERL, Javascript and XHTML, as well as statically typed languages like  C, Java, and C#. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and a Microsoft Certified Application Developer for .NET (MCAD). He also holds an Excellence in C/C++ Programming Certification. He has extensive experience with SQL Server and T-SQL. His primary development interest and expertise lies in creating user-friendly, robust, and secure web and and database systems for electronic commerce, human resources, finance, and scientific research support systems.

Very active in community endeavors, Josh has co-founded several community and support groups: The Atlanta Science Tavern arranges fun and friendly events for science lovers and scientists to gather for informal conversations about relevant and timely science news and research. The Atlanta ALT.NET Meetup organizes events for local .NET professionals to network and discuss the latest and greatest in application development and architecture.

 


 

Vice-President and Co-Founder: Sangwook Lee (Sang) was born and grew up in Seoul, Korea. He speaks Korean and English. He is a beginner in Japanese and Chinese (Mandarin). He came to the United States and studied Computer Science and Digitial Communications, earning both an undergraduate degree and a master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University (GSU). Sang researched Computer Graphics, Video Game Technology, 3D rendering, and Virtual Reality.

Professionally, Sang has worked for CNN (Cable News Network) as an assistant producer in the Creative Services and Marketing dept., and for the Information System s and Technology dept. at GSU. He has also worked for Cox Communications, Inc. as an Oracle DBA, production control engineer, and Quality Assurance (QA) team leader.

Sang has served on ACM SIGGRAPH as a Manager and Team leader and is active in mentoring and teaching students math, science, and English in the Atlanta area. He has also volunteered to teach Korean language and Martial Arts (Tae Kwondo) to American friends and children. Prior to coming to the United States, he served military service in Korea (Korean Army) for 27 months. Currently, he is a member of KAPTA (Korean American Professional Technology Association). Sang lives in the Atlanta area with his wife and two children.
